The Combine Era is an era in the EverQuest Next timeline. This era began with the Age of Exile, when the Combine Accord was forced out of their homelands by the dragons and spent five hundred years in exile on the continent of Kunark. It was here they were enslaved by their old enemies, the Shissar. After years of enslavement, the Iksar aided the Combine Accord in overthrowing their Shissar masters, whom they drove out. This led to the Age of Heroes, in which the races returned to their homelands and established a foothold - Qeynos.
